How to Draw Don from Taiko no Tatsujin

Start off by making a slanted circle for the tube or drum skin.

You will make another circle on the outer shape you just made in step one. This line should be thicker then the first.

Next, draw the first two limbs which are the front legs. They look or are shaped like stubby drum sticks.

Up next, draw the back stub leg which is also shaped like a mini drum stick.

Draw the body which will in the end look like a can.

Add marking lines on the front and bottom parts of the body like you see here.

Lastly, draw and color in the small dots for eyes, then draw in the chibi style mouth. Erase the mistakes and that's it.

That's it, the line art is like so. Color in the character and you are done.

Description: So here is a very cute little character from the Taiko no Tatsujin series. I have been getting a lot of requests for this little taiko drum so here is "how to draw Don from Taiko no Tatsujin". He is actually the main character of the series and has a insatiable appetite and I'm not talking about with just food, he also loves shopping until he can't shop no more. Don also has the nickname Don-chan, but I will just go with Don. Anyways, as you can imagine drawing Don-chan should be pretty simple since all you are really doing is making a cylinder with a face and limbs. Have fun folks and stick around.
