How to Draw Dave, Dave, Scaredy Squirrel

Step 1.

Draw a circle for Dave's head and then make one small guide right near the top of the head like so.

Step 2.

Now you will begin sketching out the top half of Dave's head which is filled with fuzz. When that is done draw the sides of his body like so, and then move to step three.

Step 3.

Now that the top part of Dave is drawn out, you can begin making the shapes of the eyes, long hot dog shaped nose, and then draw in his mouth and chin. Next, draw the boxy eyebrows and color in some pupils. Draw some teeth, and make a tip line for hi

Step 4.

Now it's time to tackle the task of drawing out Dave's body which is also squared and rounded at the corners. Draw in his jacket, and then draw out the sleeve and arm followed by the hand.

Step 5.

Draw the lining that adds the stitching to the sweater, and then draw more detailing marks on the jacket, and then draw the marking on the front part of the body like so.

Step 6.

As you know the most distinctive part of the skunks body is their tail. Here you will need to draw out the large, extremely puffy tail like so, and when you do this make sure that it is bigger than Dave. Draw out his legs and feet, and then add some

Step 7.

Now that you're done, you can erase the guides and clean up the drawing. Dave is all set to color in, now you can be on your way and tackle something else you find interesting.

Description: Every cartoon series has a pair of buddies that are different, but the same. The new show that hit Cartoon Network’s airwaves is a perfect example on how every main character needs to have a wingman. Up next I will be showing you "how to draw Dave", step by step. Now Dave is the best friend of Scaredy, and he is almost the complete opposite. What I mean by that is, unlike Scaredy, Dave is a fearless individual that likes living life by the seat of his pants. Everything with Dave has to be risky or at least risky to do. I think he’s like this because he is a skunk, and as you know skunks are pretty out there as far as having courage goes. Dave also likes to get his hands dirty whenever there is a sticky situation involved. The only thing that Dave lacks is a little bit of logic. Anyways, I know you will have fun as you draw Dave from Scaredy Squirrel because he is just too funny looking to pass up. That’s it for now but my return is near. I have a surprise for those of you that love Mordecai and Rigby!
