How to Draw Dark Materia

Step 1.


Begin with making the shape for her head, and then draw out the odd looking outline of her upper body like so. When that is all set, you can draw in the limb lines for the arms and legs.

Step 2.


The first thing you want to do in this second step is sketch out the shape of her upper body and or clothing that is very form fitting. She has straight, broad shoulders for a girl, and her hips are pretty curvy as well. Once the upper body is done,    

Step 3.


Before you start doing anything else in this step, it would be a good idea to sketch out her hairstyle first. Start this feat by drawing her bangs which start above her eyebrows, and then draw the back part of her hair. Next sketch out the arched eye   

Step 4.


Now you will finish off this drawing on Dark Materia. To do that finish drawing out her long, straight hair style and be sure to add some chunky strands. Next, finish drawing out her top, and make the middle flap that hangs low, almost down to her an   

Step 5.

Description: As soon as I upload this tutorial, I will only have one more lesson left to submit. I sort have been getting into a cartoon called Zevo-3 and so far I have pretty much uploaded all the characters that I am familiar with. I think there may be one or two more figures that I still need to do, but for the most part I submitted the heroes and villains. Yesterday I wanted to draw a figure that Stankfoot made, and who he thinks of as his perfect creation. If you follow Zevo-3 you already know the name of the person that is in the thumbnail. Get ready because I'm about to show you "how to draw Dark Materia", step by step. Even though Dark Materia was created by Stankfoot, she looks more like a character that resembles the Bride of Frankenstein. Her long black hair with the obvious white streaks adds a certain amount of character to her personality. Her very being was formed from a significant amount of Zero energy. Because of this, she is able to do things like fly through thin air, and levitate her entire body just like or better than Criss Angel himself. Another awesome ability that she has is the power to omit bursts of Zevonic energy right from her very hands. Her villainous outfit consists of a Chinese style dress with a long flap flowing down the middle which exposes her legs. Dark Materia's legs are not bare, instead they are covered with the same colored material as her top, and a pair of thigh high platform boots. Along with her attire she wears a pair of full length gloves that covers most of her arms. Her skin tone is pretty pale looking, and her eyes are dressed with black colored shadow, and her lips are colored red. In general drawing this Zevo-3 character should be pretty simple. I didn't have any problems as I sketched her out, but some of you novice artists might struggle just a bit as you follow this tutorial on "how to draw Dark Materia".
