How to Draw Chibi Rocky Balboa

Make the shape for the head and then draw the body and limb guidelines. Add the facial guidelines too.

Using the head guide begin sketching out the structure for chibi Rocky's face. The bottom lip comes off the jaw line.

Starting at the brow, you will draw in the bandanna and then sketch in the chunks of bangs. Next, draw the eyebrows, then color in the left one.

Finish drawing the head by adding the rest of the hair. Add some bangs under the bandanna and then add some hair to the back of the head.

Draw out the eyeballs and then color in the pupils. Complete the mouth by drawing the lips, teeth and tongue. Draw in Rocky's nose and then the cheek indents.

Draw in the chest next, then draw the stomach and back arch.

We will draw the shoulders and arms, then draw in some of the glove on the right hand.

We will draw the left boxing glove now to cover Rocky's fighting hand. When that is done sketch in the chest muscle definition and then the waist line for the shorts.

Here we will draw in the shorts, then add the crotch line.

Lastly, draw the rest of Rocky's legs and then draw the feet. Add the nails on the toes and then add a dimple for the right knee. Erase the mistakes and the guidelines then you are ready to move to the finished line art.

The line art should come out looking like the drawing you see here. When all is complete you can color in this chibi drawing of Rocky Balboa.

Description: I thought I would do a couple more chibi characters based on some popular movie star figures that have made a real impression in history. I will start with a tut on how to draw chibi Rocky Balboa, step by step. As you know Sylvester Stallone is the actor who plays Rocky Balboa. I had to make sure that I got all the characteristics of Rocky down from the raised eyebrow to the crooked mouth. I got the shorts drawn and colored in and I also have the red bandanna that he is seen wearing in the movie as he works out at the gym. Anyways, I love Rocky and I know others love Rocky, so why not draw Rocky in chibi form. Adios folks and enjoy.
