How to Draw a Chibi Leprechaun

Start the first step by drawing both the head and body guide shapes like so. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Using the head guide begin drawing the shape of your chibi Leprechaun's face like so, then draw in the long pointed ear shape.

You will cover the hole on the top of the head by drawing a traditional looking Leprechaun hat in chibi form. The sides of the hat lift up as you can see here.

Add detailing to the top of the hat, then draw in the belt around the base of the hat. Don't forget that you have to draw in the buckle and stitch lines around the edge of the flap.

Draw in the other Leprechaun ear like so, then detail the inside of the other. For the face, you will draw and color in the eyes, then add the small nose, little grin or smile, then add the blush marks on the cheeks. Before leaving this step you will

Let's get started with the body. Draw the shoulder then arm, then draw out the pudgy body. This should also include the pant cuffs. Before you leave this step you will also need to draw in the bow tie.

This step only involves drawing the arm and hand. The hand should be drawn in a manner to show the fingers flipping.

Lastly, draw the coin and then draw in the lining to create the Leprechaun's clothing. Add the dimpling to the tie and then draw the small feet. Erase the guidelines you made previously as well as the mistakes.

I will start by showing you how to draw an adorable chibi Leprechaun, step by step. This little guy was drawn to look like how I believe Leprechauns are as far as size goes. They are said to be small, elusive, and very greedy with their gold. As you can see this chibi Leprechaun is flipping a gold coin because as you know it's his "gold".
