How to Draw Chibi Palkia, Palkia

Step 1.


Start with two circle, one for the head and the other for the body.

Step 2.


Begin drawing out the actual shape of the head, and then draw in the open shaped mouth. The lining that has to be added to the head.

Step 3.


Draw in the detailed lining that is on the side of the head which is also home to the large eye, and pupil. Draw more of the detailing that is part of this characters design.

Step 4.


Draw out the bubble like shape for the upper body, and then continue by drawing out the legs and fin like design which is going to be a part of the hand.

Step 5.


The shoulder almost resembles a bolt, and because of this there is a series of small shapes inside of the wheel design.

Step 6.


Now you can draw out the left arm, and then draw in the small chibi style hands as well as making the detailing on the fin, as well as the lining on the left arm and on the shoulder.

Step 7.


There is only two more body parts to draw in, all you have to do now is draw out the toe nails or claws, and then add the rest of the surface stripping like so. Erase the guides and shapes you drew in step one before adding any more detailing to this   

Step 8.


Lastly, draw out the large blade shaped wing, and then draw in the tail. Both the wing and tail have to be detailed or defined with some grooves and lining. The grooves will be drawn on the wing like so, and then just quickly sketch in some of the de   

Step 9.


As you can see this was a complex lesson to follow if you are a novice artist. For others learning how to draw chibi Palkia wasn't so bad. No matter how your drawing turned out, you still have to get busy coloring it in.

Description: Alright everyone, I’m back today with some more fun. To kick things off I will start by teaching you "how to draw chibi Palkia", step by step. This chibi Pokemon character is going to be a bit more complex than some of the other chibi style Pokemon figures I’ve submitted in the past. One of the reasons why chibi Palkia is going to be challenging is because this species is full of detail and definition. As you guys know Palkia is a water/dragon type, and you can see that this chibi version looks so much like the original. Anyways, there's not a whole lot I can say about this Pokemon except have fun learning "how to draw chibi Palkia", I’m sure you will enjoy yourself if you’re a fan of the card game or series.
