How to Draw Chibi Ninetales

Artist: Dawn / August 7, 2012

Step 1.

Make a small circle shape for chibi Nine Tails head, then add the facial guide.

Step 2.

Next, you will need to start sketching out the wide shape of Nine Tails' face. Be sure to incorporate the shapes of the ears, as well as the tuft of hair between the head or ears like you see here. The cheeks should have some fluff as well.

Step 3.

Here is the fun part because we will be tackling the features of Nine Tails' face. Start out by drawing a thick top lid lining as well as some pretty lashes. Draw in the small nose, then draw out the brows.

Step 4.

Now that the face and head is all drawn out, you can begin sketching out the chest which should be very fluffy. Draw out the small legs and feet.

Step 5.

Draw in the rest of the body which is only the back end, legs, and belly. Add detailing to the hind leg like so.

Step 6.

Lastly, you will draw out all the tails which should be drawn in a pea-cocking style. The tails should resemble that of a fox so make sure to take your time with the drawing. Erase your mistakes then you're all done.

Step 7.

Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can color in the chibi in to your liking.

Description: Yes here it is, a lesson on "how to draw chibi Ninetales", step by step. This creature is from the Pokemon series as you may or obviously know. I have been asked over and over again to make a chibi version of Ninetales, and to tell you guys the truth I don't know why I never draw one into a lesson. Back in the day Pokemon was one of those anime series that I was absolutely obsessed with. I was into all of the characters no matter if they where the villains or good guys. Ash was obviously one of my favorites, and so was Brock. I think you will enjoy drawing Ninetales in chibi form because he is even more popular to draw when he is not being viewed of a chibi.
