We will begin with a couple shapes. One for the head and two other smaller shapes for the hands. Sketch in the guidelines for the face and body.

Next, let's draw part of the earthworm's face first, then from there draw the shape of the body and the farmer overalls that she is rocking as she is ready to start planting. Add the straps and pocket, all typical aspects to farmer jeans.

You can now draw in the sun hat and add the band around the base of the hat and then draw in more of the earthworm's chunky style body which is also in sections. Sketch in the detailing to the body and then draw in the simple face.

We will draw the arms and hands leaving gaps for the tooks and basket she is also holding.

Here you will draw in her short, straight hair and then draw the garden tool as well as the basket of greens.

Finish off the body by drawing the end of the body and then you're done and ready to erase the mistakes and guides.

Description: Well, I know this is a little different, but I am totally in love with this concept on how to draw an earthworm, step by step. Why should we learn to draw a simple worm that is borning and plain when we can create a worm that is earthy, and really stands for something. Now that it's Spring, so many people are going to start the gardening process and one of the top purchased products in the spring is soil, fertilizer and seeds. There are so many different types of soil and fertilizer, but one thing remains certain, in order to grow lush, big beautiful veggitables is to have the proper soil. Earthworms and their casings is something that gardeners strive for so this Earthworm that you will be drawing is a farmer and she is ready to start planting. Anyways, have fun with drawing an Earthworm.
