How to Draw an Earth Dragon, Brown Dragon
1
Begin by drawing a total of three shapes, one for the head, another for the torso or chest, and then the end one for the back or butt end. Connect the first two with a neck guide.

You will immediately start taking your time as you draw out the head, muzzle and jaw of this earth dragon. You'll want to emphasize roots of this creature, mainly because it's portraying an earthy feel. Make sure you vary the sizes of each root.

Let's finish off the back part of the body so this dragon will be standing normally ;) Create the leg first before you move onto any interior details, you don't want to draw details first then exterior work, it'll end up a mess! Once you've done that

Description: So the new series of dragons that I started doing is kind of making me a better artist with dragons. I also really love the new drawing style that has become my different style of technique. This lesson is going to be on the second element dragon, which means you will learn how to draw an earth dragon, step by step. I didn’t just want to make some typical creature that was made of rock or dirt. I wanted to combine almost all of the earth’s ingredients like trees, dirt, rock, flowers, roots, and other earth based minerals. The end sketch came out to be one of my favorite dragon drawings of all time. I think it’s because of the intense creativity involved with the dragon’s concept design. This is a piece that will go in ‘one of the original dragon drawings ever’. I want to thank those of you that gave helpful suggestions and comments as I drew this earth dragon with all of you that joined me for Live stream. This is going to be under the intermediate skill level only because there are a lot of different objects within the dragon. So my advice to you is to take your time, and follow the steps as you keep a steady pace. I will be back later with my last tutorial, and it is going to be on another dog species in regular dog form. Adios people and have fun!
