Description: Well, I finally got that flea up that I have been wanting to do for so long but never got around to it. I will now submit another lesson on a tribal design that is out of the ordinary from what you may expect to see. It will be on “how to draw a tribal star", step by step. The star has become such a popular symbol or object lately with tattooing enthusiast, as well as a regular Joe like you and I. The fact is, a lot of people who never got a tattoo before will usually start out with something simple like a star. Stars are objects that have been around for ages making them one of the worlds oldest symbols to date. Women and men will often choose from a wide pallet of different types of stars because they can be small and subtle, or large and loud. There is all sorts of stars that would make a great inking addition. There is the tribal star, which is what you will be learning today, the star of David, shooting stars, which is another very popular tattoo design that a lot of females get inked on their bodies. A famous singer that has a shooting star design is Rihanna, and she has the pattern on the back of her neck. There is the old school symbol which is the nautical star. This star is usually worn by marines, or displayed outside of homes. There is also the moon star tattoo which is an incorporation of the moon and star fused into one symbol. And lastly, the pentagram star. The pentagram has been used by so many different people it's not even funny. The tribal star that you will draw is not a typical looking concept, instead I tried to be unique and draw my own style of what I thought would be a cool pattern. I hope you enjoy this lesson, and I look forward to returning with more drawing fun!
