Step 1.
First draw two lines that form a cross when joined.

Step 2.
You will now start sketching out the tribal lining until the top of the tribal cross looks like the one you see here. Be sure to draw the flame like points and shapes until you have a concept that looks natural.

Step 3.
You will now start sketching out the horizontal part of the cross and here is where you can start tweaking the tribal design. If you would rather have the end of your cross flattened, just shorten the ends of each side. Otherwise you can proceed onto
replicating the sketch you see before you now.

Step 4.
For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the shaft of the cross and then draw the flaming like end. You can also choose to tweak this area as well. Erase all the guidelines, (which is only two lines), and then move to the next step.

Here is what your unclored art looks like when you are done. See how cool it came out! Pick a color and shade in your object to perfection. I do how you enjoyed this tutorial on "how to draw a tribal cross, step by step".

Description:
Well, I can see that the tribal rose was a big hit which means another submission on some more screaming art would be a good thing. I have a bunch of different designs that would make really cool tattoos. But like the rose, crosses are also very popular designs that get inked on bodies including males and females, both young and old. This tutorial will show you “
how to draw a tribal cross, step by step
”. How many times have you sat in class and just started scribbling on your book covers, notebooks, arms, and even desks, of cross designs that differ in aspect and size. The weird thing is, a cross should be an object that is relatively easy to replicate right? Well for me, this is one thing that I could never draw even, thick enough, or in proportion. Sometimes the top would be longer then the bottom, or vise versa. I have learned the best way to draw a cross is to use a ruler and a pencil. Once you get a good idea of how thick a cross should be and learn how to draw pieces in portion, you can then start drawing free hand without any tool aid. This lesson is going to fall in the mid range difficulty bracket because of the flame like designing. I think that just about does it for this tutorial description. All I can do for you now is show you “how to draw a tribal cross, step by step”. You can tweak this cross design if you like, or leave it the way it is. I will be back so try and stay tuned in for more drawing fun. Adiós!
