Step 1.

You can start by making two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. The body guide sort of looks like a drumstick. Add the legs and then draw the neck and tail guide.

Step 2.

Use the guide shape to draw out the poodles snout, then draw in the thick curly or kinky hair. The long piece you see is actually the ear.

Step 3.

You will now draw out the shape of the eye, then draw the nose. Color in the eyeball, then add some eyebrows.

Step 4.

Continue with draw the curly coat in a puffy cloud like style.

Step 5.

You are almost done people. Draw the front legs and paws, then draw the back end and hind leg.

Step 6.

Draw the other back leg, then draw the hairless tail and then the puffy tip. Erase the mistakes then you are all done.

Step 7.

Here is the line art once you are done. Now you can color in your toy poodle to your liking. I hope you had fun people.

Description: Hello folks, here is a pretty cute lesson on a poodle that I really enjoyed drawing last night. I actually don't know why I made this tut because I do have other lessons on poodles. I wanted to make a tutorial on "how to draw a toy poodle", but what I ended up with is a drawing that looks like a French poodle. Anyways, I can totally see this dog in a cartoon series as being the feisty pooch of the bunch. Poodles are known for being brats any way so I think you can assume the personality for this white, cotton looking dog. have fun nonetheless. As you can see in the title I went ahead and named the lesson a toy poodle. Peace out and enjoy folks.
