Draw a few circles for the head, torso, and lower body end. Next, add the guidelines for the face limbs, and tail.

2

you can now start sketching in the mouth, muzzle, and eyes of this beautiful tiger. When that is done, you can draw the beginning lines for the front legs.

3

Continue to sketch out the tigers head which includes the ears, eyeballs, and nose definition. When that is done you can finish drawing the shapes of the legs and then the large paws. Add some fur hair, and then some tiger hair around the cheeks, and

It's now time to start drawing out the rest of the tiger's body like you see here. Once you have gotten the legs, back line, and hind legs drawn out you can draw in the claws, paw pads, and whiskers.

5

Are you ready to finally finish drawing out the tigers body in full detail? Good, then all you have to do is draw the actual hind leg bone shape, and then draw in the tail. Give this big cat some toes too.

6

Lastly, draw in all the tiger stripes like you see here. Try and keep in mind that stripes on tigers, zebras and other striped or spotted animals never have identical shaped or sized stripes. When they are all drawn out you can color them in. Of cour

When you're done, your newly drawn tiger should come out looking like the one you see here. Did you have fun with this lesson or what? I hope so. Now you have to color it in.

Description: Did you guys like that simple anime tutorial I uploaded? I hope you did, and I also hope that it helped you learn to draw anime a whole lot simpler. Anyways, remember a while back when I said that occasionally I would be doing some redos or repeat lessons on things, animals, or people that I drew when this site first started? Well, today is one of those days where I will be submitting another tutorial that will hopefully teach you "how to draw a tiger". This time instead of going for a realistic type of tiger, I thought it would be better, and easier to draw a cartoon style animal so that tackling this lesson would be more approachable. Drawing tigers is one of the most challenging animals to replicate. This is due to the fact that they have so much character in their faces, and bodies, drawing them in portion can be difficult when trying to tackle such a feat. I know I have uploaded some cartoon, anime, and even baby tigers in the past. I don’t know what it is about this animal species, but something just draws me to them like a powerful force. You know, they say that tigers are kings of the jungle, and lions are kings of the safari. This is probably why I'm drawn to these big cats. That and the fact that I love the whole feline species. I don’t care if I look at a lynx, bobcat, lion, tiger, house cat, or leopard, cats and big cats are some fascinating animals and they will also hold a special place in my artistic heart. I think I should shut up now because I feel like I’m getting carried away. Let me just let you tackle this tutorial, so you can "draw a tiger" of your own. Remember, you can choose to copy the color scheme I used, or go on your own coloring path. No matter what you choose to do, you will do a great job. Peace out people!
