How to Draw a Simple Turkey

Make two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body. Add the guidelines for the legs and feet.

We will define the shape of the head like so, and add the snood that lays across the top part of the beak once you draw it in.

Now draw the beak followed by a simple circle shaped eyeball.

Make the chest and thigh lining, then move to step five.

We will now draw in the whole shape of the turkey's wing, then add feather detailing at the tips.

We are almost done folks. Simply draw out the fan shaped tail then that's it.

Lastly, draw in the feet and nails, then erase the mistakes and guides.

Here is the turkey when you're done, now just add some color.

Description: I have to do something cute for Thanksgiving which is coming up in just two weeks here in the United States. I love Thanksgiving because of all the good food that my mother makes. I know I'm in my early twenties, but Thanksgiving is the one day out of the year that I feel like a kid again. All my childhood memories rush through me when I walking into the kitchen with that smell of stuffing that fills the air. Today, I will be showing you how to draw a simple turkey so you can start getting into the festive mood. I shall return with more tuts so stick around gang there is more on the way.
