Step 1.

Now, this first step is going to be super easy. You have to decide how big you want your puppy to be and then draw a circle to suit your size. Add the face guidelines, and then draw out the shape of the body.

Step 2.

Next, begin sketching out the shape of the puppy's head like you see here, and then draw the mouth.

Step 3.

You will now draw the shapes of the floppy ears, and add some eyebrows. Once that is done, go ahead and draw in the cute puppy nose, and the rest of the mouth. Don't forget to draw the panting tongue as well.

Step 4.

Now it's time to give this puppy some personality bu drawing in some big egg shaped eyes. Color in his eyeballs or pupils, and be sure to leave some white spots behind for added glare. Next and lastly, draw the chest, and the front legs and chubby pa

Step 5.

It's time to finish this drawing on how to draw a puppy. All you need to do is draw out the dogs back, hind legs, and back paw. Add the toe lines and then the cute puppy tail. Erase the guidelines and shapes you drew in step one.

Step 6.

Look how easy that was. Now you have your very own puppy even if your parents say you can't have an animal in the house. Great work guys!

Description: Here it is guys, the ultra cute tutorial that is going to be such a hit. I'm going to show you "how to draw a puppy", step by step! Can you believe I never did a lesson on just a plain old puppy? I know I have a tutorial on puppies, but nothing for a pup. To get the idea for the design of this adorable pooch, I used the colors, and make up from the anime puppy that is so very popular. This is what the anime pup looks like in regular cartoon form. I can personally tell you that this is one of my favorite lessons that I have done to date. I love the way the puppy's paws look so chubby, and how the face looks so edible. Tomorrow I think I will fill the many requests, and do a lesson on the dog that is in the top 50 under the heading 'realistic dog'. This drawing is going to be easy to replicate which is why I am leaving it under novice for difficulty. Once you "draw a puppy" from this tutorial, you will be able to color it in any which way you like, and add any kind of markings to your liking as well. Have fun with this lesson people, because I know for a fact you will. I will be back in a jiffy so stay spiffy!
