Description: I am finally ready to submit my last tutorial for the day this time it will be on another domestic animal. Right now I will be showing you "how to draw a pug", step by step. The pug is a very stocky animal that is short and well, pudgy looking. Their body is square, thickset and compact. They have a smooth coat and pug's come in a variety of colors which include apricot, fawn, black and silver. They have moles on their cheeks and these are known to be beauty marks. Their eyes are big, dark and glossy, and they usually have a kind expression on their face. The pug is a very affectionate animal and they do well with all types of families. Not only are these dogs cute and wrinkly looking, they are very smart as well. The pug is a breed that barely barks and they are very sensitive to the tone of your voice which means there is no need to reprimand a pug in a harsh way. Even though these dogs are considered a small breed they make very good watch dogs. Although I doubt that anyone would feel threatened by the sound of a pugs bark. A typical male pug averages around ten to twelve inches in size and they only get to be around twelve pounds. But of course there is the occasional pug that may weigh five to ten pounds over their average weight. This breed gained popularity during the movie release of “Men In Black” as one of the main characters happened to be an alien disguised in a pug's body. After that you see this breed almost everywhere along with the chihuahua. I personally think that the pug has the face similar to a bulldog which at times can be very cute. An interesting fact about this breed is that some believe the pug was created by crossing a pekingese with a small bulldog or french mastiff. I mean some truth must be attached to that theory if the pug falls in the mastiff category right? Anyway I will show you how easy it is to "draw a pug", step by step. The instructions are easy to read and the steps are simple to follow. I will be back tomorrow with more drawing fun so stick around and tackle this drawing lesson on the very adorable pug.
