How to Draw a Great Dane

Description: I have another animal for you all right now and I know that most of you will like what I have done. For my third tutorial of the day I will show you "how to draw a Great Dane", step by step. This massive dog is referred to as being the “Apollo of all dogs” because of it's gigantic size and stature. Even though this breed is overwhelmingly huge, they are nothing more than gentle giants. The Great Dane is described as being noble, elegant, and robust. They are gentle with children although they should have the proper training so they are taught not to jump on people because they will knock them down especially kids. With their gigantic size comes a long narrow head, a good sized nose tip and wide open nostrils. When you describe the build of the Great Dane you will first say that this breed has a long and muscular neck and the front legs are perfectly straight with muscular looking thighs, rounded feet and long black nails. The jowls on a Great Dane is incredibly cute as well and so is their large dark eyes that usually have sort of an innocence behind it's stare. They come in many different colored coats like; fawn, brindle, black, blue, mantle harlequin, white and even Merle. I never had a Great Dane but my mother did when she was a teen and she said that they are fun and sometimes lazy dogs. She is the one that gave me the idea to do a tutorial on the Dane breed as the conversation came up while we were talking about the Boxer dog we were going to get soon. The name of my mothers dog was Jason and he was all black with a white star on his chest. The more I look at this dog the more I think I want one. Did you know that back in 407 A.D. The Great Dane was once admired for the way they were able to take down bears and wild boars? Yes it's true, the Dane was admired in Germany for it's bold and courageous nature when folks found out what this animal was actually capable of. No matter how you look at it, the Great Dane is a dog of choice for virtually any family. They will do well in apartments as long as you take them on daily long walks. Another fun fact about the Dane is that even though they retain the “Dane” in their name, they have no link to Denmark at all. This breed was created by crossing the Mastiff with the Irish Greyhound and as an end result you have the marvellous Great Dane.
