How to Draw a Monkey Face

Begin by drawing a large circle for the monkey's head and then draw in the guidelines like so.

Here you will use the shape you drew in step one to draw out the entire shape of the monkey face including the cheeks, and jaw.

Draw in the face mask like so, and then begin the lining or shapes for the monkey eyes. Notice how they are only half drawn, this is done for a reason.

Color in the eyeballs, and pupils, and then draw out the round monkey nose and be sure to add the detailing inside of the nose which is the nostrils.

Now draw in the squiggly line for the smiling mouth, and then draw in the ends of the mouth like so.

Lastly for this tutorial all you have to do is draw out the big ears, and add some definition inside of them. You can now start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Here is what the monkey face looks like when you are all done. Great work everyone, now go ahead and have an awesome time coloring him or her in.

Description: Here is something cute and sweet that some of you may enjoy, but may also find childish. As you know I am always filling requests. Therefore I had to made this tutorial on "how to draw a monkey face", step by step. I have drawn a bunch of monkeys in my day and if you go browsing through the animals section you will see a bunch of primates to choose from when you want to draw a monkey. One of my favorite monkey tutorials is the cartoon version and I think it's mainly because it looks so darn awesome. The monkey face that you will be drawing is going to be extremely fun and easy to tackle. There is no way that anyone is going to mess up on this tutorial, but if you do, just dust yourself off and try again. The more you draw, the better of an artist you become even if you are just at a novice level. Well, I guess that's it, I mean how much more can I talk about a monkeys face when I have said all I can possibly say about monkeys in previous lessons. All I can do now is show you how to draw a monkey face using an easy step by step tutorial that will break down the basics on making one of these apes look adorable.
