How to Draw a Message in a Bottle

Start off with a single guideline and a couple circles. This is for the bottle and the message.

Before drawing the bottle, we will draw the message which is a rolled up piece of paper. I love the style of the paper drawing, just start with the shape of the message first, and draw the swirl of paper on top.

Go ahead and draw out the neck of the bottle and then the actual body of the bottle. This is a simple wine bottle shape.

Here you will draw the opening of the bottle which is a ring shape.

Add the layered sand mound at the base of the bottle and don't forget to draw the ripples of sand as well.

Next and lastly, draw the ocean and then the clouds. Erase the mistakes and guides.

You are ready to color in this drawing of a message in a bottle.

Description: Here is one I'm a fan of. It is a concept that I couldn't believe I never did. Today I will finally show you how to draw a message in a bottle, step by step. How could I not have done a lesson like this before in the past? I mean, it's such an awesome concept that everyone is familiar with. I had so much fun making this lesson and I love how the overall concept came out. The best part about this lesson is that it is so simple that anyone can tackle it. Anyways, I will ramble on and on if I don't shut up now. So have fun drawing a message in a bottle.
