This lesson should be rather simple. All you have to do is start with a round shape for the ladybug's body like so and then draw a straight line through the center like you see here.

2

Using the shape and guideline draw out the rounded shape of a heart.

3

Draw over the guideline you made in step one, then draw a head, and curly antenna for your ladybug.

4

Next, all you have to do is draw in the various spots on the body like so, then move along to step five.

5

Here is where you will start the drawing process to making the bed of leaves that the ladybug is resting on. Start with the larger leaves first, then draw the smaller ones between the larger leaves you drew. It should almost form a star shape of some

6

lastly, sketch in the detailing to each visible leaf that is part of your bedding for the ladybug. You can tweak the design concept of course, or you can keep it the way you see it drawn in here.

7

When you are all done your ladybug tattoo should come out looking like the one you see here. All that you need to do now is color it in to finish it off.

Description: Here is a very pretty tattoo that I enjoyed drawing a lot. If you where to turn this ladybug updaise down it would actually form a heart, but that's besides the point. The main reason why I made this design is because someone asked if I could make a tutorial on "how to draw a ladybug tattoo". Of course at first I was like "a ladybug tattoo", but then after thinking about it, it seemed like a good idea. Like I said many times before, you can make tattoo designs on just about anything you can think of. If someone walks into a tattoo parlor and says "I want a tattoo of a cockroach getting sprayed with RAID", the tattooist or tattoo artist would either think up an idea, or copy the idea from a concept drawing that the individual may have brought in. Of course I don't think there are too many people out there that want roaches for tattoos, I was just explaining how you can get anything you can think of as body art. After all, you're paying for it right? Anyways, this concept came out super cool and incredibly vivid for a dark image. The green hues of the leaves mixed with the red and black of the ladybug is super intense in color. I think you will have fun drawing a ladybug tattoo especially if you love these insects. Stay tuned in for more drawing fun coming your way. Peace people and like always, enjoy!
