Step 3.
Sketch out the actual box like shape to the car, and make sure the cab is boxy as well. Don't forget to draw the windows.

Step 4.
In this step you will need to draw the other fender which is only visible part of the way. Draw in the headlights, then add a bar that connects each light.

Step 5.
Now the real fun begins. Draw the flames that start right at the front of the hot rod, all the way past the entire front of the car. The streak of flames should extend just to the end of the door were the seam line starts as you will see.

Step 6.
Now you can draw in the seam lines that will create the door, radiator, and define the headlights. Draw the side mirror as well and move to step seven.

Step 7.
That's it after this step folks. All you have to do is draw out each tire, then draw in each rim. As you know hot rods have to have classy rims so don't forget to go all out on creating those. Erase the mistakes that you made along the way as well as
the guidelines.

And there you have it, a finished car on a hot rod. Now you can begin the coloring process.

Description:
Hey folks I'm back and once again I bring a lesson on a really nice car that guys and girls love to learn. Here will we learn "
how to draw a hot rod
", step by step. Hot rods are pumped up cars that have been modified in a very detailed and mean manner. You can find hot rods that are trucks, or cars, and they can be from any era. I had a difficult time with this drawing because I don't draw cars a lot so the tires were a bit of a challenge. Nonetheless I managed to persevere and ended up with a drawing you see here. I do hope that you enjoy drawing my take on a hot rod. Adios and have fun.
