How to Draw a Hippie Koala

Artist: Dawn / April 9, 2020

Step 1.

Another easy lesson. Draw the two larger shapes for the body guides and then draw the facial guidelines as well as the guides for the arm and hand.

Step 2.

Using the head guide define the shape of the koala's head shape. Add a full tuft of hair at the top of the head as well.

Step 3.

Next, we will draw in the large ears like you see here. Then draw in the inner circle shapes to each ear.

Step 4.

You can now draw the oblong shapes of the eyes, color in the pupils and then draw the raised brows.

Step 5.

We will now draw the shape of the nose which is also oblong and squared. Once that is done you can draw the mouth and teeth too.

Step 6.

Now we can draw the body. This koala is dressed like a hippie so draw a baggy tee and the sleeves should also be baggy as well. The left arm is raised and the fingers are giving a peace gesture. give this Koala a chill necklace with a small mushroom

Step 7.

Lastly, we will draw in the rest of the body which is some of the belly and then the thighs/legs as well as the feet. Erase any visible guides and mistakes too.

Step 8.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in your hippie koala. I hope you liked this lesson, if you did don't forget to share, fav and comment.

Description: Welcome back folks to another lesson. Up next we will be learning how to draw a hippie koala bear, step by step. I wanted to do a koala in a peaceful hippie concept because of the tragic events that took place in Australia with the fires. Since these beautiful creatures are some of my favorite animals, I felt compelled to create something that turned the unfortunate koala, to the peaceful koala. I had a lot of fun with this task and I do hope that you all do too. Thanks for joining me with this lesson.
