How to Draw a Halloween Crow

1

You will start this step by making a small circle for the crow's head guide, then draw out the oblong shape for the body.

2

You need to draw out the form of crow's head like so. This should also include the back of the neck, as well as the lining for where the beak starts on the face.

3

You will now draw out the beak, then draw the small tongue inside of the crowing mouth.

4

All you have to do here is draw out the eye, then sketch in the feathery detailing along the edge of the head and on the neck.

5

Okay guys. Draw out the long wing starting with the shoulder. Sketch out the feather fingers, as well as some of the ruffled feathers on the wing's surface.

6

Sketch out the crow's back making it a nice solid stroke, then sketch out the tail feathers and the rest of the wing feathers.

7

Lastly, all you have to do is first draw out the tombstone that the crow is resting on. Once the tombstone is sketched out, you can draw the crow's leg and talon. Sketch in the detailing on both the stone and crow leg, then begin erasing your mistake

8

Here is what the finished drawing looks like when you are done. All that's left to do now is adding some color.

Description: So hey guys, I'm starting to have fun with these Halloween creature series. In this new tutorial, I've decided to do an avian creature for Halloween, and it's a bird that's most known for it's deathly appearance. In this new drawing tutorial, I'll give you simple steps on "how to draw a Halloween raven", step by step. I sketched this up after looking at various poses of crows on tombstones. This one is much simpler than the ones I've seen. So, without putting too much of a hold on the tutorial, let's jump right in! Thanks for viewing, and let me know what you think!
