Description: This lesson is going to be on something very simple and used in almost everything we own. I will teach you "how to draw a gear step by step”. Gears are chunks of metal that are used in mechanical machines both little and large. If you really want to break down on what a gear is I can do that as well. Now, a gear is a metal or steel component that sits with a bunch of other moving devices which than creates a torque that goes in a rotational direction. A gear is a perfect circular shaped object that has a series of teeth that are used to grip onto the slots of another gear or device. A perfect example on what a gear is used for is watches. If you was to take apart a pocket watch or a clock that would have big enough parts to see, you will open up world filled with gears, washers, screws, pulleys, springs, and so on and so forth. The gear that you will draw looks similar to the gear I drew for the “Gears of War” logo. I think you will find this lesson extremely easy to follow and replicate. Have fun with this lesson on “how to draw a gear step by step”. I will be back later with two more lessons that I think you guys will enjoy. Peace out my fellow artists, and happy drawing!
