How to Draw a Dragon

Sketch in some basic Guidelines, or the outline of your dragon. This includes the line plot of where you are going to set your eyes.

Its kind of hard to see, but draw in the details on the eye, Like the shine, pupil, and Iris.

Add in some details on the snout, like the mouth, nostril, and small bottom tooth. The tooth is optional. Since i am trying to cut this short, i am going to add more and more on each step.

As you can see, this step took you further. I added more detail, shadowing, and i repositioned some of the Parts to the dragon. Believe it or not, we are almost done!

In this step, i basically was just coloring in the dragon, and adding the details that come with coloring, sic has, shines, highlights, shadows, different layers, ect.

Here i added background, and a different hue to the dragon. For the background, i chose a color that clashed with my dragon, to make the main focal point (the dragon)stand out more. It also happened to be the color of his eyes.

Description: Since this is my first Tutorial, it probably won't be very good, so please just bear with me!I probably will upload more tuts after this one, my goal is to do 2 a week. I drew this is Sketchbook, but you can also do it in photoshop, pencil and paper, or what ever.
