How to Draw a Cool Zombie Tattoo

Are you ready to tackle this beast of a lesson? Good, let's get started. Begin with a circle for the head and then draw the oblong shaped jaw guide. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Using the head guide begin sketching out the shape of the skeletal looking face starting with the forehead, cheeks and then slowly draw in the upper row of teeth. Notice that the teeth are long and slender. Before leaving this step, you might want to

Here is a step that may take a while to get right because when you draw zombie eyes, they need to be very expressive. All that is on a zombie's dead mind is brains. So, having said that let's get started with the eyes. Sketch out the shapes of the ey

For the head, we will draw in long, straight hair that covers half of the right eye. The hair is supposed to look dirty, greasy and very zombish. Notice the ends of the hair, they are separated strands and the reason why they are flowing in the manne

Now let's focus on the mouth or bottom jaw. Since this is a zombie some of the flesh has to look rotted. So, what I did was is draw the cheek that is stretching from screaming ripped, torn and rotting. Draw the shape of the chin or jaw and then draw

Okay, the head, face and hair for this zombie is all done. Now you can sketch in the long, bony neck and in the center of the neck notice how it forms a V for the throat. Sketch in the shoulders and upper torso. This zombie is hungry so his body is j

Almost done folks. Draw the ends of the long straight hair on the left of the zombie's body, then proceed to step eight.

Description: Since The Walking Dead is no longer on, I wanted to make a really detailed drawing on a zombie figure that would make a kick ass tattoo concept. This drawing literally took me a few hours from start to finish, and I know my hard work will pay off because there are plenty of zombie freaks out there (like myself) that would appreciate and enjoy this lesson on how to draw a cool zombie tattoo. Now, if you are a novice artist you may want to plan on spending a while on this lesson. You can also start the drawing tutorial and come back to it later for a few days until it's finished. I chose to color the sketch in some faded out gray/black hues instead of making it all bloody and gory like I usually do. If you don't want to tackle this tut but would still like to use it for a tattoo, go right ahead, but make sure to send me pictures of how the ink looks on your skin when you are done. I know all the detailing in this zombie drawing will take your tattooist a good couple hours to finish or longer depending on the tattooist skill level. Anyways, if you are gonna draw a zombie, you might as well draw a kick ass zombie. I will be back once again because I still have quite a few more lessons coming your way. Adios amigos and enjoy!
