How to Draw a Baby Mosquito

Start off with the shapes for the head and body and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Using the head guide go ahead and draw out the actual shape of the face and head, then draw the large needle nose, the shapes of the eyes and the tuft of hair on the head. Notice this mosquito as pretty lashes.

Go ahead and draw the shapes for the upper body and the blood filled stomach. Add the ridge lines as well.

All you have to do here is draw in the legs and the tiny little hands.

Lastly, give this baby mosquito some wings. Add detailing and erase the mistakes.

Go ahead and color in the baby mosquito you just drew.

Description: So I have a bunch of lessons going to be uploaded on a baby insect/reptile series that I know lots and lots of you artists will enjoy. To start the Summer season off, here is one that I tried to make as cute as possible even though I hate these bugs, here is how to draw a baby mosquito, step by step. This adorable looking mosquito comes flying with a full blood belly and all. I had so much fun making this insect and hopefully you will too.
