Description: When late Spring, and the Summer months roll around I always wait to see those beautiful green lights that glow in the dark from the firefly. These wondrous insects have been admired and loved by adults and children alike. They are a mystery when you don't know how they glow, but when you do some research on the green fluorescent light that blinks on and off in the night sky, you are amazed at how the firefly is able to shed light in the darkness.
