How to Draw the Sun and Moon Face

Step 1.

First things first, make a circle for the unified shape.

You will now draw the crease down the middle of the circle to form the side profile of each face for both the moon and sun.

Make the mouth which is just a set of plump wide shaped lips.

You will now draw in eyes. Notice that the eye on the sun side is further away from the center. Color in the pupils and move to step five.

For the last step all you have to do is draw the sun flares. These almost look like sunflower petals. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

Now, just add some good color. That's all there is to it for drawing the sun and moon face.

Description: I want to wish everyone a happy New Year as we will go into 2015. This lesson is done because I was asked to make another tut on how to draw a sun and moon face, step by step. There is no wrong way to tackle this lesson all you have to do is go in and do it. The left side of the image is a moon while the right side is a burning sun. The difference is night and day and even though the moon is the only natural satellite to planet earth, it still illuminates the night sky from the rays that reflects off it from our sun.
