Draw Rattata from Pokemon

Step 1.


Let the task begin. Start out by drawing a head and body guide like so and then sketch in the facial guidelines and limb guides.

Step 2.


For this next step, draw the snout, forehead and then the wide open mouth. Rats have bug front teeth so draw in the large front teeth along with the tongue.

Step 3.


Using the facial guideline you will draw the large shape of Rattata's eye. Once that is complete go ahead and draw the thick whiskers.

Step 4.


Up next, draw the large ears and add the detailing. When you are finished with the ears you can draw the front legs and toes or feet.

Step 5.


Complete the body shape by drawing the stomach, back, butt, long thick tail and the back leg & foot.

Step 6.


Lastly, add the marking lines on the body along the face, stomach and ankles or legs. If you made mistakes erase them now, then erase the guides.

Step 7.


That's it, you are all done with drawing Rattata. All that's left to do is adding some color.

Just as the name suggests, Rattata is a rat like Pokemon species that is meaner than you can imagine. It's actually a Pokemon that you get as a starter in Pokemon Rumble. I know this because my baby sister told me so, and because it is a species that has been requested a few times. So, here is your tut on drawing Rattata.
