To start, all you have to do is draw a circle for the head guide then draw a box shape for the muzzle.

Using the muzzle guide you drew, begin drawing the nose and mouth in a tribal style. Add definition to the cheek and then draw the eye.

We can now start work on the Leo lion's mane and chin shape. These too are drawn in a tribal style so be sure to create those points and angles.

Okay, slowly draw out the lion's mane. It should be in a fiery formation as you see here.

Add some minor detailing to the mane, then you can proceed to last step

Color in the lion tribal design solid. If you plan on using a different color for your Zodiac Leo sign, then it would be a good idea to use the color of choice.

That's it you are all done. You have just created a drawing on the Zodiac sign Leo.

Description: This next Zodiac sign is probably one of the more popular ones. I know so many people who carry this star sign, but I'm not one of them. I'm actually a Cancer, but that is not what this lesson is on. Today I will show you how to draw Leo Sign or the Leo Zodiac Lion. If you are a Leo, you were born somewhere between July 22nd and August 23rd. Leo's are hot headed, self reliant and highly driven individuals. Tho sometimes a Leo will have a lazy side and can have a simple minded mentality. This concept of the Leo lion came out awesome. I hope you all like the tuttorial.
