Draw an Avocado Step by Step

For the first step draw a shape that looks like a stubby pear.

Next, draw one half of an avocado shape laying on its hardened side. Create some dimples on the outer shell as these are common on the skin of an avocado.

Avocado's have large round pits or seeds so you will draw this inside the halved slice. On the whole avocado all you have to do is sketch in texture detailing which are the bumps or dimples on the skin. Erase the mistakes if you made any at all.

That's it. Color in your avocado and show someone what you just made. I'm sure it looks good enough to eat.

Today I will be showing you how to draw an avocado, step by step. Avocado's are delicious power-foods and it's true that they have an acquired taste. At first I couldn't stand the taste of avocados, but now, I love them and I put guacamole spread all over my food if I am having a sandwich, homemade tortilla chips or whatever else you can use fresh guacamole for.
