Magical Mushrooms Drawing Lesson

Step 1.


Begin with the guidelines and shapes for the mushroom. You will start by drawing an almost balloon looking object and then a rim around the ballon. Almost like a planet.

Step 2.


Now using those guides draw the cap of the mushroom in a more refined manner.

Step 3.


Here you will draw the edge of the mushroom cap and then draw the shapes of the gills under it.

Step 4.


Now for the stem which is shapely and almost looks like it is in motion.

Step 5.


Add the spots to the top of the mushroom.

Step 6.


Draw a smaller version of the mushroom off to the right the same exact way you did the first one.

Step 7.


And lastly, draw another mushroom which is sandwiched between the two you just drew. Add the grass and erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 8.


That's it, you are all done. Now you can have fun coloring these mushrooms in.

Description: Hey guys. Welcome back to another fun lesson. I wanted to finally get this lesson uploaded that has been sitting pending in my tutorial folder. To start the day I would like to show you my version on magic Mushrooms drawing, step by step. Now these mushrooms do have that dreamy quality to them with a psychedelic vibe. It's a pretty simple lesson to learn from and as you know there are so many different aspects to creating Alice in Wonderland style art, I thought the mushrooms would be something that folks may like. Anyways, I'm not going to ramble on too much about this concept because I have two exciting tuts to upload. But for now have fun drawing magical mushrooms and let me know what you think.
