How to Draw Yui

Step 1.

Like all first steps when drawing a human figure, you will start by making the shapes for the head, and torso, and then draw a connecting line for the hip area. When that is done draw out the legs, and arm lines as well as the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

Begin sketching out her hairstyle starting with the bangs, and then draw the shape of her face like so. When that is done, draw the neck shape, and then start the process with the shoulders, and opening for the jacket. Lastly, draw the eye lines.

Step 3.

Finish drawing out the hairstyle, and then finish the eyes. Next, draw the sleeves, collar, and pretty simple tie that is tied in a bow. When that is done, draw the rest of the jacket like so.

Step 4.

And for your last drawing step, all you have to do is sketch out her ruffled school girl skirt, and draw out her legs, feet, and hands. Add some detailing to the jacket by placing buttons and pockets, and then erase the lines and shapes you drew in s

Step 5.

You're done! Thanks for stopping by to check out this tut :D

Description: There is a manga/anime called K-ON and it is about four Japanese girls that are trying to save their schools music club from being canceled. The problem with the whole idea to save the club, is the fact they are the only members of the club. Having said that, it almost makes it nearly impossible to save a program from being canceled since there is nobody else to stand up and fight for it to remain within the school. The main character of the show is called Yui, and that is who this lesson is going to be based on. There is so many different manga and anime series that I am not familiar with, and again this is one of them. I had to actually ask my friend about this manga because I have never followed it before, which means the characters are new to me as well. The three girls that put together a grooving band is Yui, who is on the guitar, Mio Akiyama who is the bassist, Ritsu Tainaka is the bands drummer, and finally Tsumugi Kotobuki is the bands keyboardist. To me the series seems to be a little too soft for me to be interested in it, but I like the premise of the storyline because I know that this is a series that my fourteen year old sister could really get into. Anyways, Yui is a cute character, and she should be pretty simple to draw out. I think you will have learning "how to draw Yui", step by step. I will be back with my last lesson so stay tuned in just for a little while longer to see what it will be. Adios people!
