How to Draw The Last Airbender

Since you will only be drawing out the head of Aang, this should be a relatively easy character to draw. Start by making a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines.

Now you will begin sketching out the shape of Aang's face and head, and be sure to incorporate the shapes of his ears too.

It's now time to draw the shape of Aang's neck, and then add the lining to create the collar. Next, use the facial guidelines you drew in step one to draw out his eyes, which are void, and then sketch out and color in his eyebrows which look like the

For your last drawing step, just draw in his nose, and mouth, and then add some crinkle lines around the nose. Continue to draw out his collar and shoulders like you see here, and then begin erasing all the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

Description: This is one of my favorite drawings that I have done in a long while, and the main reason why I am in love with this sketch, is because I love the character and the series itself. Today, I will be finally teaching you “how to draw The Last Airbender", step by step. Now, I know I can't say anything new about the series, or about the character. And unfortunately I haven't even got a chance to see the movie yet in theaters because I have been so gosh darn busy with my first drawing book. I am still very much in need of going out to see The Last Airbender, and hopefully I get to do that this, or next weekend. Either way you guys will definitely know if I finally got to see it because I will be raving about the movie. Anyway, there was so many different ways to pick and choose a perfect character for this lesson. In the end I chose to draw a version of Aang, that hasn't been drawn before, or at least by me anyway. One of the coolest things Aang does is go into his Avatar form and his eyes, head, and hands light up with an illuminating glow. Even though this character is only twelve years old, he is by far one of the best martial arts experts I have seen in an animated series. The other characters I find very skilled are from Naruto, and of course Bleach. I have a lot of lessons on all kinds of different tutorials on a bunch of Airbender characters like Sokka, Ozai, Appa, and Katara. Of course there is other figures that I submitted from the series, I only named a few. If you want to check out the other lessons, all you have to do is click in the “Nickelodeon” section under the “Cartoon Characters” category. Well, I guess it's time for me to go, but don't fret because I still have more drawing fun on the way. I hope you enjoy this lesson on “how to draw The Last Airbender”, step by step, and be sure to let me know what you think. Peace out people, and enjoy the rest of your drawing day!
