How to Draw The 1975

Make two horizontal lines for the area where you will be drawing the letters and numbers like so.

Start the first step by drawing the stem for the T and then the left side of the top step of the T.

For the second letter, all you have to do is draw a backwards E like you see here. Notice that the E has dashes instead of straight lines to make the the bars.

The next step includes another E like shape that will also create an H for the word THE. Draw another vertical stem for the completion of the number 1.

Up next, draw the number 9 and then proceed to step six.

Lastly, draw the numbers 7 and then 5. Erase the mistakes and you are all done.

If you made mistakes you can erase them now. You are finished with the drawing of the band logo from The 1975.

Description: Hey folks, welcome back to Dragoart and also welcome back to another lesson on a band logo that was requested by a few people. Today, I will be showing you how to draw the letters and numbers for the English indie rock 'The 1975'. When drawing these types of band logos, all you are doing is writing letters. In some cases the letters/numbers need to be drawn if they are a block type of style and all the coloring and detailing is done after. In this case with The 1975 logo, you are basically writing letters and numbers on a large scale and then all that needs to be done is some coloring. Anyways, if you are a fan of The 1975, you should enjoy this tut. I will return with some other great lessons so stick around to see what they are. Adios people.
