How to Draw Sesshomaru Dog Demon, Inuyasha

Step 1.


The first thing we need to do is draw the shape for the head guide and then sketch in the facial guideline.

Step 2.


Next up, you will start the drawing process to creating the dog face. Start drawing the forehead and then sketch out the snout of the animal. Draw the lining inside of the mouth which will form the gum line. Add the outline of the nose tip and be sur   

Step 3.


Using the facial guide, draw in the eyeball making sure that the top lining is thick and bold. Add the markings on the face along the cheek and forehead like so, then draw in the small sharp k-9 teeth.

Step 4.


All you have to do here is draw out the fiery lining that forms the upper part of the body. Draw the large ears and then sketch in detailing on the shoulder part of the dog's body.

Step 5.


Okay guys you are getting closer to finishing this character. Draw the front leg and foot as well as the long claws. Add some flames along the lower part of the leg like so, then you are done here.

Step 6.


Lastly, draw the other leg and paw the exact same way you did the first one. Add detailing for texture and definition, then begin the clean up process as you erase the mistakes and guides.

Step 7.


That's it, you're done. Color in your new Inuyasha character then add this drawing to your collection of Inuyasha art.

Description: I wanted to add something cool to the front page of Dragoart that was sort of scary, very eye appealing to look at, and also to be something that kids or fans would like. After going through my request logs I stumbled upon a few e-mails that asked for a tutorial that could show you "how to draw Sesshomaru Dog Demon", step by step. Now this was a very interesting character to draw because it almost reminded me of the wolf from Okami. The dog demon had abilities and powers that where not all known of. Sesshomaru is the character that transforms into this incredibly intriguing dog form which is also his true form. The giant white dog has markings almost identical to the marks he has on his human form and because of this Sesshomaru can be recognized when he is in his true form. Drawing Sesshomaru in his dog form was really fun because I just love drawing beasts that resemble the creature that he is. If you are an Inuyasha fan you should enjoy drawing Sesshomaru Dog Demon as much as I did trying to replicate it.
