How to Draw Saya

Step 1.


Start this lesson by drawing the shape of Saya's head which is of course a circle. Add the facial guidelines and then draw out the shape of her torso and sleeves. Next draw the shape of her skirt and then add the guidelines for her legs, and arms.

Step 2.


Now you can start sketching out her bangs for Saya's hair style and then draw in her eyes, nose and mouth. You will then draw one side of her ear. After that sketch out the shape of her face and then draw the shape of her neck and collar.

Step 3.


Now draw the lining a little more bolder to shape out the shirt, sleeves, and draw the collar. You will them draw the shapes of the arms and her left hand. Her shirt is tucked into her skirt which means you will have to draw a bit of a puff at the wa   

Step 4.


Finish sketching out Saya's hairdo and then add some defining lines. Once that is done you can then draw in her bow tie, and then sketch in the vertical lines n her skirt to make a ruffle. You will also need to draw a wavy line pattern at the bottom    

Step 5.


For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw the shapes of Saya's long skinny legs. Be sure to also draw the sock line just below her knee. When all is done you can start erasing the guidelines and shapes.

Step 6.

Description: It's funny how there is so many different anime/manga shows and series out there that you never know about until either you stumble upon them, or was told about a series by a friend. That is the case with this next character that I am about to submit. I recently received a request to do a certain anime character from the series “Blood Plus” or “Blood +”. At first I was like, hmm... I never even heard of this anime before, which means I had to do a little research on it. After reading what the story was about I was instantly intrigued. Needless to say, I am about to submit a lesson that will show you “how to draw Saya from Blood Plus step by step” who is the main character of the novel, and anime series. Saya is a young teenaged girl who was adopted by a man named Joel Goldschmidt. The actual way that Joel came across Saya was through the findings of two cocoons that was taken from the abdomen of a “chiropteran mummy” that was found in Iceland. The creature was known as SAYA, and from the two pod like cocoons Joel decided that an experiment would be the best way to determine what exactly these creatures are. From the cocoon two twin girls were born, Saya and Diva. Saya and Diva are Queens of their species which are of course chiropterans. Each generation twins are born, and out of those twins there is a good version and a bad version. The bad version is always gonna be the enemy of the other sister which is how the antagonists of the series is created. Saya Otonashi is what you call the protagonist of the story and her character was born in 1833. Now just because she is the “good guy” doesn't mean she does good things. I mean after all she needs to feed on the blood of others even though she is destined to kill other chiropterans including her twin sister Diva. Along with Saya, Kai and Riku help her on her quests as they are also her adoptive brothers. Another person she trusts fully is her chaevalier Hagi, and her protector David. David is from the organization “Red Shield”. Of course there is more to the story which I am still unfamiliar with. I am taking it slow so I can follow the series in detail because to me it sounds a little like the video game “Parasite Eve”. Well all I can do for you kiddies now is stumble out of here and leave you to this tutorial on “how to draw Saya step by step”.
