Draw a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw a small dash for her neck and then draw the body frame guidelines which includes the torso, arms, legs, and hands.

Now sketch out the eyes using the facial guidelines you drew in step one. Color in some pupils too so this gal has some eyesight. Once that is done you can sketch out her friendly smile and or mouth.

Completing step three only brings you closer to the end. What I want you to start sketching out here is the shape and style of Sam's hair as you see here. She has shoulder length hair that is very straight. Give her face some eyebrows and then draw a

Wow, Sam is looking great. Let's start sketching out some shapes and lines for her torso which includes her arms, hands, and upper body. Draw the collar design and move to the next drawing step.

Finish the shape of her upper body by giving her a waist and some hips. Draw three buttons and then her thick belt. Don't forget to sketch out her hands and finger tips.

This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out her legs and then her small feet and or shoes. When that is done you can start erasing all the shapes and guidelines that you drew in step one.

The main character from the flick was requested by a member and that is what I will be giving you a lesson on today. So, get your umbrella’s ready because you are gonna need them with this next tutorial. I’ll show you “how to draw Sam Sparks" from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs step by step”. Now I haven’t personally seen the movie yet, but I watched a few trailers and even read a few movie reviews. From the information I gathered, the flick is supposed to be a hit. Sam Sparks is a weather intern for a local news channel and she dreams to become a professional weather reporter in the future. She gets her big break when she is the first to witness a storm of cheeseburgers falling from the skies like rain. Everything is fine until she bumps into a guy named Flint. She goes on the quest to stop the skies from raining delicious food that can be eaten just by keeping your mouth open.
