How to Draw Sailor Venus

Step 1.


We can begin by drawing the head, torso and hip area like so. When that is done sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Sketch out the shape of Venus' face like so, then incorporate her hair and ear.

Step 3.


Continue to work on getting her hair sketched out which is also going to be the shape of her head. Add some puffy bangs, and move along people.

Step 4.


We can now work on getting Venus' eyes drawn out starting with the thick upper lids. Add her pretty lashes and then draw the nose, mouth and detailing inside her ear.

Step 5.


Now that her face is totally done, you can now sketch out the bow in her hair followed by the strands that wrap around to hold her hair in.

Step 6.


Sketch out the shape of her neck, then draw in the scarf like flap that is part of her blouse or shirt. Add the trimming along the edges and then move to step seven.

Step 7.


Up next, draw the two ring sleeve cuff which lays short on the shoulder like so.

Step 8.


Simply draw Venus' arm and more of the sleeve as shown to you here.

Step 9.


Sketch out the shape of Venus' upper body from the back view. There should be a bow behind her back as well.

Step 10.


Up next, draw in both of Sailor Venus' arms which are folded to her sides with elbows bent.

Step 11.


Almost done folks. Draw the skirt, and then add the ruffles on her skirt.

Step 12.


And finally all you have to do is draw her long straight ponytail. Add detailing to her hair and you are done.

Step 13.


The line art looks like the drawing you see here. Now you can color in Sailor Venus and be done with this lesson.
