Make the guides for the head and torso like we always do when drawing a figure. Add the facial guidelines as well as the limb lines.

Here you will sketch out the shape of the face then draw in a small ear bump.

Up next, draw in the bangs which are parted, then when you do this make sure the ends are pointed.

Sailor Mercury wears a headband, so you will have to draw in the headband now with the jewel in the center. When that is done you can draw her big wide open eyes, then add a nose, mouth and earrings.

One of the easy tasks about drawing Sailor Mercury is her hair. She doesn't have long locks instead she has short hair that is fluffy.

Now that her hair, face and features are all done, draw the shape of her neck, then draw in the V lined collar for her top. You will also need to draw a heart shape at the end of the V line.

Here you will now draw the collar of the shirt then draw the bow connected to the collar.

Up next, draw the sleeves which are more spacey in design instead of long. Add definition to the top,

You can now draw in her long stretched arm and then draw in the band on the upper part of her arm which rings around.

Draw in her top and then sketch in the shape of her waist. Flare out the dress or mini dress and then draw in the rest of the bow.

Almost done people. Draw the other arm along with the band on the upper part of her arm which is the forearm.

All we will do here is draw the definition to her dress. Add the V lined waist then draw in the pleats.

Finally, draw the large bow in back of her. Erase your mistakes if you made any and then clean up those guides.

Description: Okay so I don't know how many of you Sailor Moon fanatics know, but there is a reboot of the popular anime coming your way July 5th. The next few characters I will upload are going to be on the new 'Sailor Moon Crystal' girls. To start, here is "how to draw Sailor Mercury", step by step. As you can see she has a much more natural look, less old anime-ish, and has a vibrancy unlike her older creation. I really did enjoy making these Sailor Moon characters in their new form, and hopefully you guys do too. Adios amigos and stick around for the other girls from the Rebooted series.
