Step 1.
Begin the first step like you do others, make the outline for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.
Using the guides you just made, begin drawing out his hair which is in a messy, spiky style. Of course the hair isn't going to be that long, but you still have to give Raiden a stylish du. Add detailing at the roots, then move to step three.

Step 4.
Add some nice trim on the band or eye patch, then begin sketching out the eye, nose, and mouth. The bottom row of teeth have no skin tissue covering gum line. Add detailing to the face, then draw the ear bud on the other side.

Step 5.
For the last step all you have to do is draw the rest of his hair which only falls right to the bottom or stem of the neck. Sketch out the neck, then draw the shoulders. You will need to erase the mistakes and guides, then you can sketch in all the m
uscle definition on the shoulders and neck.

Here is how he looks when all is said and done. Now you can have a blast coloring him in.

Description:
I'm really having fun with making these awesome video game characters in an easy to draw format. As I said earlier, I will try and keep up with filling requests by taking two days out of the week to make tutorials on some stuff that members want to see. Having said that, let's learn "
how to draw Raiden
", step by step from the Metal Gear game series. Now Raiden's character design sort of reminds me of the old Alucard from Castlevania because both figures have long white hair, wear dark colors and use a sword. I can remember my family playing the Metal Gear games off and on as a kid. My little brother was Infatuated at one time of Snake's character. Through out the game series Raiden took on many forms. He has been designed with different suits, weapons, armor and abilities. Raiden has been seen wearing a Skull Suit in some of his early missions. The skull suit is black and blue, but there is also another suit where it had an exoskeleton. When he had the exoskeleton suit he also had his arms and legs replaced with robotic or cybernetic limbs. But that's not all. Raiden has also had his blood replaced with 'White Blood' which is a military engineered blood made for special projects. Anyways, I like the way that he came out, and I really tried my best to make the tutorial as simple as possible for folks to recreate. Drawing Raiden is going to be super exciting because he is a super awesome character. I will be back in a few because there is actually more tuts that need to get uploaded. Stick around people, peace.
