How to Draw Professor Layton

Step 1.

Make a wooden looking style mannequin like so. Start with a head and torso, then draw the leg limbs and feet.

Next, draw Professor Layton's top hat along with the ring around the base.

Next, sketch out the Lego style face, color in the eyes, draw the mouth, then draw the ears, neck and jacket collar.

Sketch out his jacket completely like so. This should include the shoulders, arms, and open flaps for the thick heavy wool style coat.

Add the shirt line, then draw the hands.

Lastly draw the legs, feet or shoes, then erase the mistakes. Now you can see how he turned out with the finished line art.

Here is Professor Layton all drawn in. Now you can color him in. I hope you enjoyed this lesson.

As you can imagine Professor Layton is a well recognized figure throughout London. He uses his skills and powers to solve mysteries and puzzles with the help of his apprentice Luke Triton.
