Description: I know you guys are expecting some lessons from me on two more comic book characters and to tell you the truth, I still plan on submitting them and to prove it, I will be teaching you "how to draw Poison Ivy", step by step. This female figure is from DC Comics and she is mainly seen within the Batman series. I want to tell you a lot about Poison Ivy, but I feel that I need to submit this tutorial as quickly as possible because there is so much work for me to do still. I will fill you in on some brief information just to get you started, then I will return at a later date to update the description so you can learn a great deal more about this popular villain from Batman’s world. First off she is a character that wears nothing but green. Her attire consists of a body suit that is very skin tight to her figure. She wears gloves, and boots, and you will notice that a lot of drawings of Poison Ivy have vines, leaves, and ivy wrapped around her body in various places. Her long wavy red colored hair helps give her that fiery appearance that enables readers, and fans to feel a bit threatened by her presence. The red colored hair gives this comic book character a high sense of toxicity. Her real name is Pamela Lillian Isley and she was once a botanist from the Seattle area. Some of the reason why she turns into a super villain is because she hooks up with a guy named Marc LeGrande and it is with him that she steals an ancient artifact that contains ancient herbs. The main reason why she turns into Poison Ivy is because Marc LeGrande attempted to kill Pamela because he wanted to tie up loose ends on his part to erase any risk of being caught for his theft crime. Needless to say she turns into a villain that Batman tries to put in jail, but if you think about it, she really isn't all that bad. I had fun recreating a version of this character that I think you will enjoy. You can learn "how to draw Poison Ivy" just by following the steps and instructions. I will be back later or tomorrow with more drawing fun so stay tuned in to see what I upload next, or in the future.
