How to Draw Piggy, Almost Naked Animals

Step 1.


Start with basic shapes for Piggy, keeping in mind that these should be drawn almost correctly. You can trace over objects that resemble the shapes seen. DRAW GUIDELINES LIGHTLY! You don't want to mess up the entire drawing by failing to draw guides    

Step 2.


Then, work on the face shape, including the protruding eye to the left of the face. Once you've drawn the eyes, try to make sure the face ends with the middle circle.

Step 3.


Let's finish off the face by adding the pupils, looking rather crooked and the large nose, which takes 3/4 of the face up. Sketch in the mouth area first, before adding the teeth details.

Step 4.


Then, sketch up the hat Piggy wears. Start with the bottom and work your way upwards onto the puffy curves that sprawls into a muffin.

Step 5.


Next, we'll start shaping up the robust body for this cartoon character. Start with the arms first, which divide into two separate claws. Don't forget to work on the rounded stomach after you've drawn the arms.

Step 6.


Shape up the legs as well as the detail that separates his body directly in the center. This is where his underwear will be detailed. The feet shouldn't be too long, they should be pacifically short - stubby to be precise.

Step 7.


Lastly, detail the underwear by adding the two curves that ride on each corner. Don't forget to spike a few hairs around the body. DO NOT add too many!

Step 8.


Clean up your lines, proof your drawing, making sure that it's all ready for finalization. When you finalize your lines, draw them darker than they were previously. Either that or you can use an ink pen for smooth lines (depending on how you use it).

Description: Here's another Almost Naked Animals tutorial that I've gotta submit tonight. I had fun drawing Piggy from Almost Naked Animals, one of Howie's friends. The shapes included with the body composition of Piggy are quite easy and similar to the simple circles and ovals.
