How to Draw Percy Jackson

Step 1.


Another long lesson to follow so brace yourselves. Begin by making a circle for the head, and then add in the guidelines for the face, and body like so.

Step 2.


Now start sketching out the shape of Percy's face structure starting with the cheeks, and then move along the jaw line and chin like so. Next, draw the eye lids lines too.

Step 3.


Finish drawing out the eyes, and then the eyeballs. Next, draw out the eyebrows, and color them in too. You will now draw out the nose, and then the mouth.

Step 4.


Okay, now you are ready to sketch out Percy's hairstyle which is the long style that a lot of teenage boys are wearing nowadays. As you can see his bangs feather off to the left side, and his hair is tucked behind the ear. Draw out the ear, and then    

Step 5.


Sketch out the neck and then begin drawing out the shirt, and sweater jacket that he is wearing. The clothes should have some nice wave to them for added definition and detail. No one likes to have their characters wearing boxy or stiff looking cloth   

Step 6.


You will continue to draw out the clothes, but this time draw in the teeshirt collar, and then the opening to the sweater jacket that he is wearing. Next, draw in both of his arms like so, and don't forget to add in the sleeves detailing.

Step 7.


There is only one thing to do here, draw out the hand which is in a clinched fist because he is holding the trident.

Step 8.


Before you move to the next step where you will be drawing the trident, you have to sketch in the detailing to the clothes, and to his neck like so. Take your time to ensure that you get a good neat drawing.

Step 9.


Sketch out his trident which looks very melted. Take your time here because you want to make sure that you retain the form and design of the three pronged fork like object. Add in some minor bursts and splatters, and then erase the lines and shapes y   

Step 10.


Here it is, the finished drawing tutorial on how to draw Percy Jackson. Color him in, and that's it, you're done. I do hope that this is the figure design you wanted. If it's not, I will have to do another lesson on Percy in the future.

Description: Well, here is what almost everyone has been asking for since last year when the movie came out in theaters. I will finally fulfill many requests for me to submit this lesson on "how to draw Percy Jackson", step by step. To tell you the truth, I should have made this tutorial a long time ago when he first became popular. In this description I will talk a little bit about Percy Jackson before you get started with the lesson. Some of you may not know that Percy Jackson is a character from a book series created by Rick Riordan. The first book is called Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief, then came Percy Jackson the Sea of Monsters, next up is Percy Jackson the Titan’s Curse, followed by Percy Jackson the Battle of the Labyrinth, Percy Jackson the Last Olympian, and finally Percy Jackson the Lost Hero. Instead of the book series, I’m more familiar with the movie adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief which was pretty good, but a bit boring at times. I think the creatures and characters where pretty cool, but sometimes it almost seemed like I was watching a miniseries like Hercules or Masters of the Universe. Percy is as you know, the son of Poseidon, and in the movie he was being accused as being the thief who stole Zeus’s lightning bolt. During the film Percy embarks on an adventure that leads him to the truth about who he is and what his future holds. One of the things I liked was the adventures he went on, and some of the humor was okay. Overall it is predicted that the Percy Jackson series is going to be the next Harry Potter. Whether or not this is going to turn out to be true, is all up to the fans, writers, and producers. Anyways you should have an awesome time learning "how to draw Percy Jackson" in his animated state.
