How to Draw Origami, Origami Crane
1
If you are drawing this origami crane, you will want to start by making a long triangle shape for the beak of the bird.
2
Next, draw a flat shaped neck like so, as well as a boxy body shape like you see here. This is a perfect lesson to use a ruler since there is a bunch of straight lines.
3
Draw the base of the origami crane, then draw the pointed bent wings. Draw the long triangular tail, then you are done here.
4
For the last step all you have to do is draw the crease or fold lines on the body of this paper art creation. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

Description: Well folks, here is a simple concept that I wanted to create based on a very popular form of Japanese art. Today we will be learning "how to draw origami", step by step. For those of you that don't know, origami is nothing more than the art of paper folding. The whole concept started sometime in the seventeenth century AD. Origami can be a very challenging task because you have to literally transform a single sheet of paper into something unique and beautiful. The crane is one of the more complex paper creations to fold, but it is also the most popular. I guess you can say that the paper crane is by far the signature mascot for the art of Japanese paper folding. I had a lot of fun trying to come up with an easy way to show folks how to create origami in the form of a drawn crane. You can choose to tackle your own idea by using some of the other popular shapes like flowers, swans, bugs, or anything else you can think of. This was not something that someone requested from me, I was actually inspired to make this tut after watching an episode of Sweet Genius where the inspiration was origami. Well, that's all folks. Have fun with drawing origami and let me know if you liked this submission by leaving a comment, rating or both. Peace out people!
