How to Draw Crane, Master Crane, Kung Fu Panda
1
Begin by drawing a small uneven circle shape for the head, and then add the shape of the body like so. Next, connect the head to the torso and then draw one long stiff leg line.
2
What you will do now is draw out the conical Asian hat like so and if you notice there is a wick like stem at the very top that appears to be stringy.
3
The first thing you will do is draw out the head in better detail and form, and then draw out the long beak and semi thick neck.
4
Draw in Crane's eyes and then finish drawing out the mouth by adding the ends. Add some detailing and color in the pupils.
5
Now it's time that you draw out the body in better detail. Start with the shoulders, and then draw in the arched wings. The left wing has a round shape to it while the right wing has a pointed tip. Lastly, draw in the legs or thighs.
6
You will begin sketching or drawing out the feathers that fill Crane's arms and be sure to take your time here so you get each feather drawn properly. Draw out the tail and then make a band around the waist for his sash.
7
As you can see you are almost done with this tutorial. All you need to do now is draw out the bony legs which appear to have small nods at the base and then get real skeletal like the further you go down. Once his legs are all drawn out you can move
8
All that is left to do now is draw in Master Crane's feet. He has three toes so this shouldn't be a difficult task to overcome. Once done, you can start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

Description: This is the last character from the Furious Five from the Kung Fu Panda franchise. Today I will be showing you "how to draw Crane", or Master Crane from both the first and second movie of KFP. Out of all five, Crane has got to be the most patient among them. Instead of a female being a mother hen figure, it is Master Crane that carries that position, or should I say sometimes burden. One thing that he does that is hard to beat, is the way that he uses his abilities to ward off or defend foes. Unlike the other four Masters, Crane actually has the ability to fly out of harm’s way. He also likes to be a scout by flying around the area to see how many enemies are at hand. So what kind of role does he play in Kung Fu Panda 2? Well, I guess you could say that he is Po’s flyable taxi. I say this because in the movie Crane carries Po around and puts him down as they land on solid ground. Even though Po is a martial artist, he lacks the capability of landing safely after falling from high leaps. Anyways I had fun with drawing Crane because he happens to be one of my favorite birds. If you are a fan of the movie and you have been waiting for a lesson that completes the Furious Five, you will have a blast learning "how to draw Crane". I will be back in a jiff with more drawing fun so stay tuned in gang!
