Step 1.

Let draw out the framework for Natsu first so you have a nice form to work with. Start by sketching out the circle shape for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the torso shape for his body, and then another shape for

Step 2.

Now you will start sketching out Natsu's hair line as you see here and then the drawn out shape of his muscular looking arm. Natsu really isn't that muscular, he's more toned and lean then anything.

Step 3.

Finish sketching out his spiked style hairdo, and then draw in his face starting with his brows, and eyes. Next sketch out the other arm and then add some detailing and shading as you see it done here.

Step 4.

Here is where it starts to get fun. You will start drawing his scarf, which is blowing in the breeze, as well as the ends of his shirt you see here. Then that is done draw the front of his top, and then start sketching out his pants and or legs. Next

Step 5.

Finish sketching out his pants and be sure you detail and define them as you see here. Next finish sketching out his scarf that he wears around his waist, and then draw the notch for his shoulder or back strap. Define his six pack stomach, and then t

Step 6.

For your last drawing step you will sketch out his legs, feet, toes, and sandals. When that is done be sure to detail and define his legs and feet as you see here. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to prepare your Fairy Ta

Step 7.

That's it, your done. As you can see learning how to draw Natsu wasn't all that hard. Now you can have great fun coloring him in. Remember, Natsu has pink colored hair. Great fun people, see you back here soon with more draiwng fun.

Description: This is the second installment of characters that I will be submitting from the new anime/manga Fairy Tail. Most of you fans out there are probably having some good fun with the tutorial I just submitted on Happy. Well, it's now time that you learn “how to draw Natsu, step by step”. As I mentioned in the previous lesson, Natsu is the main male character of Fairy Tail. His full name is “Natsu Dragneel” and he is what you call somewhat of a pretty boy. His personality is described as being carefree, and reckless just like a true rebel, and he is also often seen nagging at other guild members. Like most boys, and young men, Natsu feels like he has to keep a competitive advantage over his teammates Gray Fullbuster, and Ezra Scarlet. It must be hard trying to stay inline when you have a teammate that is always busting your chops. That is how Natsu feels whenever Gray insults him. These actions will often lead to scuffles which then in turn to hostility for one and other for a short period of time. I have a feeling that as time goes on with the series and manga, these two will either be enemies or best friends. It always happens like that. The ones you hate turn out to be your best buds, and the ones you like turn out to be your enemies, or vise versa. Remember when I said that Natsu gets sick when he travels? Well this is a strong weakness of his. I mean he gets sick when he travels by trains, carriages, and even when someone carries him on their backs. The only means of transportation that he can handle is when Happy holds him in the air as he fly's using his Aera ability. Well I guess that is all I have to say about this Fairy Tail character because that is all I really know about him. As time goes on and more episodes and manga are written, Natsu will be sculptured into a very interesting and entertaining person. Until then all you can do is teach yourself “how to draw Natsu, step by step”, and keep watching the anime series, and reading the manga. I will be back with another lesson on something that is Fairy Tail related. Peace, and happy drawing!
