Description: Hello all, and welcome back to another exciting, and fun tutorial on Dragoart.com. Today I will start the afternoon by submitting a lesson that will teach you “how to draw Mr. Potato Head”. I chose to draw this character because pretty soon Toy Story 3 will be out in theaters for all to see. I loved Toy Story 1 and 2, and I can't wait to see what part three has in store. Some of my favorite characters from the movie already have drawing tutorials for them and they can be found in the Disney section. One of the main reasons why I like Mr. Potato Head's character is because he is voiced by the very funny and talented “Don Rickles”. At the end of part two, Mr. Potato Head was informally married to Mrs. Potato Head when Molly received the plastic toy as a gift for Christmas. Head made his first debut as a toy back in 1952 from Playskool. He consisted, and still does consist of a plastic mold of a hollow potato, which is his body, and this body houses different parts that are used on his mold to create funny faces using the arms, feet and or shoes, glasses, different noses, ears, eyes, hats, mustaches, and mouths that usually come as teeth and lips. Mrs. Potato Head comes with the same stuff only this time there is female accessories like purses, earrings, puckered lips, and so forth. His character in Toy Story is very serious, and even comedic. Mr. Potato Head also has a personality where he tells you how it is no matter what the other toys think of him. I guess that's why I like him because he was one of the few that actually tested Woody's patience by saying teasing remarks. I think all you fans of this Disney movie character will love this tutorial that teaches you “how to draw Mr. Potato Head, step by step”. When you draw him out, try and have fun with his face by sketching in a different type of mustache, or maybe a winking eye. You can mess around with your drawing as if you had the toy right in front of you. I will be back later with some other cool lessons, so be sure to join me again. Adios me amigos, and happy drawing!
